First off, I should probably let everybody know I did finally manage to wrest my package from UPS's greedy, unaccomodating grasp. Thanks so much to everyone who sympathized and/or offered to help me with that. I really do appreciate it.

Also now in my possession are the first three Harry Potter books, on loan from the Queen's Education Library. I just started rereading the first one tonight, and although it's probably been at least half a decade since I last read the book, I'm finding my reactions so far are much the same as they were way back then.
